Wot Guides' Review Guidelines
Want to have your review published? Just make sure you follow these simple rules and you’ll be laughing.
Please don’t scare the children.
Profanity, threats, prejudiced comments and non-family-friendly content is not welcome in this guide book. Neither are reviews that mention criminal activity or drug-related activity. So if you want us to publish your best work, make sure you leave it out... there may be kids looking.

Want to submit more than one review? No problems, but we only want to see one review per destination from you. Repeated reviews or reviews on the same destination written by the same reviewer, or containing the exact same information as another review, will not be published.
Simon says... Do not copy.
Plagiarism wasn’t allowed at school and neither will it be allowed here. So don’t bother quoting material that's been published elsewhere. Otherwise we're going to have to expel you... or at least your review.
Come one, come all.
If you own, manage or work in a hotel or other business offering accommodation, or work for a regional tourism organisation, we welcome your submissions. But remember, we are looking for reviews that are original, a little outside the box and, ultimately, ones that will make people want to visit your town, not just your hotel. So let’s try to keep the blatant self promotion and brochure talk to an absolute minimum. Furthermore, we won’t be publishing commercial web addresses, e-mail addresses or any personal contact information.
If you don't have something nice to say...
This is not the place to moan about a bad holiday experience. Instead, we are looking to build a database of Australia’s top short break destinations so let’s keep things nice. Remember, Wot Guides is about telling people where to go, not what to avoid.
Where are your manners?
IT'S ANNOYING WHEN PEOPLE WRITE IN CAPS ISN’T IT? We also don’t like HTML tags, excessive slang or typographic symbols. Remember, this is a site for people of all ages, so if our grandma or her 12-year-old grandchild are unable to understand the content, then we’re probably not going to be able to publish it. .
